March Update--A New Beginning!

Dearest Friends,

We wanted to post some pics of the house and other festivities that have graced us the past 2 months. Last month we put up the latest update on Jordan with her professional career, and now we want to share with you what all has kept us busy since the beginning of December! Because we did more than just celebrate Christmas! (to enlarge photos at any time, just click directly on the photo)

DECEMBER -- MOVING & FAMILY
Below is the finished product of our house. It did snow that weekend, so our house was covered in plastic all day long! We moved on December 17th, and hosted Christmas for the entire Davis clan on December 30th! (oh yes...we also managed to go visit Jordan's side of the family during
Christmas too!) And you better believe we were all upacked before the New Year. Oh and don't forget -- I(Jordan), had the privilege to participate with my best friend in her wedding at the end of the year too here at the World Prayer Center. (though I'm afriad the pics won't downlaod!) I'm so happy for her and her wonderful new husband!!

Here you see some of our friends in the kitchen and family room on moving day:

Greg is finally King of his Castle -- no more Condo!

Here is our Niece (who just turned 2 in Feb) with our dog Milo. This was during the Davis Family Christmas. Everyone helped us break in our China (yes, we never had room to open it/store it in the condo, so its been in boxes the past 2yrs of our marriage!), and they made the house feel like home real quick.

And for those of you who know and love Jordan when it comes to flip flops (or open toed shoes in general) year-round, a pink "flip flop" note board now hangs in her current office. Now, THAT was a great gift!

JANUARY -- NEW JOB, REFFING, & RE-GROUPING
As you read in last month's "January Update", I (Jordan) took a new position here. My profesional career took another step as I began as Outreach Coordinator with Faith Partners within the Department of Human Services in El Paso County. (Please be sure to click on the archives to read last months(January) update to get the full story!) This has been a huge transition and excitement. I have been stretched and encouraged!! However, I am thrilled to be working in a field that accents me and that I studied for.

Greg's reffing season has been blessed. He enjoyed a 2 week Christmas Break and then hit the Middle School again teaching with reffing on the side. Below is Greg at a recent playoff game:

FEBRUARY/MARCH -- WHEW(CATCHING BREATH) & CURRENT HAPS FOR THE DAVIS'

So here we are at the end of February/beginning of March -- Greg is in Playoffs/State/March Madness for basketball and longing for Spring Break with school! BBall will finish at the end of March. And I am finally getting into somewhat of a groove with my job.

Ok, so we hope that you've enjoyed the pics and that we shared enough with you. We do apologize it took awhile to get them all posted. But better late than never! Drop us a note or comment or email or phone call -- we'd love to catch up with you!

Blessings!

Greg & Jordan
